Hey Matt – i am less than 200km from Puebla and depending how much i want to throw down could be roliing into there tomorrow evening. I am pretty sure i have a place to stay in cholula, puebla through warmshower.org. – right now i am writing from cd. sahagun. i was going to avoid Mexico city on my bike. we should be able to catch up – gots no phone but i will stay on the email and will be chillin a bit in cholula. where are you heading from there?

hey matt you didn´t happen to live and boulder at one time and be a teacher¿ we will probably cross paths at some point on our trips as everything narrows down – i will keep track thru your site and my blog is a good indicator of my location – what a blast. but i haven´t run into any other cycists but my route seems to be a little off the cycled path – definitely gettin´that impression from the locals anyhow. you don´t know yer having fun til you fall down – greg

You made me hungry. Tomatoes, Beans, Crispy Tortilla , I had Chicken Tortilla Soup sometime back Corn, Jalapeños, Red Roasted pepper, Crispy Tortilla. You are post are my eyes to the world I would love to see some day, I have enjoyed your posts a lot, and pictures are amazing. The pelicans were hanging out at the fish market in hopes for some scraps!
I’m sad I missed out on the annual get together! I think I had been to the last 4 or 5 of them, and they were a highlight of the start of each year.

Matthew, we have been following your incredible journey from the beginning. So sorry we have not written before but I (Dan) can blame it on my chemotherapy which has often left me listless and with a few unwanted side effects. We hear from your Mom and Dad via phone/email and we are enjoying your blog so much. An incredible journey which will linger in your memory for a long time. May God be with you and protect you as you journey on. So nice to know Spanish now isn’t it as you journey through Mexico, some parts will be new and adventuresome for you.
